Last I heard this guy was suppose to be in Baltimore shooting the firefighter drama called Ladder49. I read in People magazine he has adopted a rigorous workout regimen to prepare for his role. Bust he was uncomfortable using his gym, so the film's production company bought him thousands of dollars worth of exercise and had it ship to his suite. Among the pieces cluttering up his room are a leg machine, curl machine, an incline bench, a full set of weights and dumbbells, a medicine ball and a Reebok Core Board (which is a exercise platform) and all of this was free to Joaquin. My opinion on this is.... Dear God do they spoil these actors or what? Well he's awful cute. Maybe that's why they give him free stuff. Have you ever looked at his eyes shine? His eyes are killer.

Being the son’s of billionaire clothing king Ralph Lauren, I would say that Andrew and David Lauren have the best chance of being the best-dressed
brothers on the face of the planet. I bet it’s like they never have to worry about what to wear, just asked dad for some matching fine Ralph Lauren duds to put on. Not only are they handsome, but last time I heard they are single as well. I don’t know if they are still single or not, but they have been in a few magazines with their dad Ralph Lauren this past year. Gee anybody crazy about a sharp dressed men? Andrew is an Actor/Producer who owns his own film company and David is now being called The Crown Prince of Seventh Avenue and people are saying he will be walking in his daddies footsteps at least in the clothing world anyway. David is also on our bachelor list. Let’s just hope he’s still a bachelor, cause you never know he could have got married and no one told us. I don’t know about you folks, but I have always wanted to be dressed by a Lauren man. Any one of these three men could dress me and I would be a happy camper.

Jet: I just bought the new Bon Jovi CD "This Left Feels Right". It's actually a bunch of their songs done over in a different way. It's an excellent CD if anyone is thinking of picking it up. Rick Springfield has a new CD out in February. Can't wait!!

Ann: Hey Jet thanks for the report on the Bon Jovi CD. I found a bunch of nice pictures of them out on the web and I thought I would post them. I haven't got the album yet, but I will check it out. I love their older music. I think it was the best anyway. They have had a few new hits but none of their work they have done in the past few years comes close to being as good as their old stuff. There is one song I love of Richie Sambora's that is called Hard Times Come Easy. Great song, you should listen of it.

Viggo Mortensen you may know him from the "Lord of the Rings" hit trilogy, but this guy is a little more than just an actor. He's a poet, painter, photographer and a few other things as well. I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings and Viggo has a new movie coming out soon too called "Hidalgo". It looks like it could be a great movie too. It's about a race the Arabian Desert. Manda Panda: Red wings? Predators? AVALANCHE!!! You people, sheesh :-p funny story about the predators actually.... I was standing in the arena this summer for the draft, and actually said, "whoa, Nashville's got a hockey team?!" I also forgot I was in Tennessee. Oh, I'm trying to come up with some pick-up lines, and I'm running scenarios over in my head, and all I'm coming up with is me standing there with my mouth hanging open and not breathing. yeah. I'm a dork when it comes to guys :-\

Ann Stewart: Well we darn sure better have a Hockey team, cause our football team is starting to tick me off. When will the Titans ever win the Superbowl? We always come so close and than we blow it.

And as far as hockey players go, they all rock except Chris Chelios. I still can't forgive him for the nasty play he had when he was with the Blackhawks. But you know any good Detroit fan hates Chicago anyway. Couldn't believe it when I saw him in a Wings uniform. And they are as good looking as any actor. Steve Yzerman runs rings around my most loved Bill. What a man! Oh another story about that for you Manda. I used to live in Detroit and watched the Wings on the local station. The announcers were Dave Strader (who is with ESPN or FOX now) and Mickey Redmond who was the color guy and a fomer Wing. Now I had always thought that ole Mick had him a beer or two in the booth during a game a la Harry Carrey because he kept getting more and more colorful as the game went on and by the third period he was downright Technicolor sometimes. So anyway, one night I am watching the game and there is a big pileup in the Wings zone. Suddenly, here comes Steve on a breakaway, just scootin' down the ice. Of course everyone is gettin excited and then Mickey says, " Well, sure looks like the Wings are shooting their wad tonight!" Dead silence for like almost five minutes. I was howling! Then Dave finally comes on again and he was still having trouble talking. It was hilarious!

Patty Got to Meet Dan "The Man" Abrams

Patty: I did meet Dan a few times. Kim, who is also on the Blue Earth list on Yahoo for him, and I decided to go to the courthouse in Los Angeles when he was out here covering the dog mauling trial back in March of last year. We watched him do his show -- he was sitting in the back of a flat bed truck in the courthouse parking lot. And then as he was walking by us afterwards, we stopped him. Yes, I stuck out my foot and tripped him. Ok, not really. No, actually, I think I just said "Hey, Dan, can we talk to you for a minute?" or something like that and he stopped and said Sure. He was really nice and so was his producer Sandy who was there too. We chatted with them for a few minutes about his show and the trial. And we took some pictures with him.
Then in August of last year he was back out here in San Diego for the Westerfield trial so Kim, Betty (you know Betty) and I went again to say hello. And he remembered Kim and me from the previous stalking. We took some pictures that time too. A few days later, I ditched work and went down there again and met up with Kim outside the courthouse. We weren't there that long that time. Did I mention he is super nice? He is. And he didn't seem to mind we kept showing up. Then I went down another time (this time my co-worker encouraged me to go because she saw Dan's picture and thought he was cute) and talked to him for a little bit. I asked him insightful and probing questions like "New tie?" and "Do you have a Sharpie?" I also asked if he had ever practiced law (no, he hasn't but he is a licensed attorney). Then I went one last time and dragged my sister along so she could take a picture of me with him since in the one that Kim took, I had my eyes closed. Once again, he was just as nice. :)

Manda Panda: Another nifty thing about Forsberg, during the 2000-2001 playoff run, he endured a massive body check from Mattias Norstrom, and ruptured his spleen. He took the next year off to "recondition" himself, came back in the playoffs, and lead in scoring. Not to mention that when Colorado got knocked out, there were still two rounds left. No one even came close.

Sindhu Kumar: You should also add that Capt. Stevie Yzerman of the Detroit red wings (one of my favorite hockey teams) won the gold medal for the Canadian Olympic hockey team at the salt lake city Olympic games in 2002 against the united states.

Two Hot Weather Men

When it is cold wet and ugly outside the best thing to do to get warm and have a good smile on your face is to turn on to CNN and see the weather men. Rob Mariano is the hottest meteorologist on CNN. In the early morning hours and on the weekend I have noticed him to be on. Chad Myers is on American Mornings. I have grown quite fond of Chad Myers happy–go-lucky humor in the morning. Even when the weather is bad, he can be manage to chipper, and I would think that would be kinda hard, because Chad has to wake up so early in the morning. It’s just my opinion but two of the hottest meteorologists on TV are CNN’s Chad Myers and Rob Marciano. I think they are infohunk worthy. What do you think?

Vic Talks on Alessio Vinci on New Guy on the Hot List

Vic: Hey, Ann; hey everybody.... =) Hahaha, I'm having fun reading the discussions here. =P Here are my comments on Alessio Vinci:

Alessio Vinci is CNN’s Rome bureau chief, having first joined the Atlanta HQ as an intern when he was 21 years old in 1989. His parents are Italian, although he was born and raised in Luxembourg, owing to his dad’s work—Enrico Vinci even used to be the secretary-general of the European Parliament. He also has a degree in political science, but he didn’t become a politician like his dad; instead, going into journalism, as we all can see.

Alessio says he’s been interested in writing since he was quite young, even writing poems and songs before. If you can check out his articles on the CNN site, you’ll see he is a talented writer indeed. I’ve also read some of his articles in Italian, and I’m in awe at how good they are. He actually has a good sense of humor, even if he may not look like he does. ;)

And he manages to carry his clothes off so well that he can probably wear a potato sack and still look good. He even makes eye bags look sexy. =P He looked particularly good when he was wearing those khakis while he was embedded with the Marines in Iraq. He has this charming aura about him that I’ve easily managed to get people who didn’t like him at first to eventually like him. Italians do it better. =P

Alessio has been assigned to rather dangerous assignments in the past, narrowly escaping death (no, really) at least three times in Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, and Iraq. It sometimes makes me think he’s reporting on the Vatican right now so he could thank God he’s still alive. =P Rome may seem like a more humdrum post compared to Belgrade, but it’s still a rather daunting task. Asked on whether he had any regrets on his career path, he answered, “I made a mess out of my marriage…. I wonder sometimes, ‘Who will keep me company? My articles?!’” I’m not seeing any rings on his fingers either, so, the poor thing must’ve been traumatized by his divorce (I assume).

Above all, though, I really admire this man for all his accomplishments and talents. That he’s beautiful is just a bonus. ;)

David Blaine is Nuts

Ann Stewart: I will admit to being a fan of David Blaine’s. I love his street walking magic tricks. I thought it was every entertaining to watch him walk around and shock people on the street with his illusions, but this stunt he did in England where he was in a box for 44 days with out food was just foolish and boring. Why would anybody want to watch a guy stuck in a box for days with nothing to eat. There’s no entertainment in that. David Please stick to magic tricks and stops doing this silly starving in a box stuff. It’s just ignorant.

I also noticed that he didn’t look any skinner even though Dr. Gupta on CNN stated he was 55 pounds lighter. He looked health to me and he was walking and talking and he even did a press conference after he came out of the box. He looked great. He grew his hair out while he was up there trapped in that box too. That’s got to be the best thing that happened to David Blaine is that he let his hair grow out and he looked good with hair. He usually shaves it all off. David Blaine is a nice looking man. I’m adding him to the list of Hot New Guys, even though I think he’s nuts for pulling this stunt. You guys have any comments on this story I can add to my news blog folks?

1. Buster Keaton-- Read some of Buster’s Bio: Joseph Frank (Buster) Keaton was born into a family of vaudevillians. Joseph, his father, did an eccentric dance act and his mother, Myra, danced and played the saxophone. Melissa: John Vause is a correspondant/anchor for CNN. He appears mostly on CNNI. There isn't much information about this gorgous man, but for what I've seen some people like him and some people just think hes full of it. Well, I know that hes Australian (Aussie) from the west coast of Australia. He started working for CNN in June of 2001. He has covered important stories and events, including the latest war in Iraq. From the information bits I've read, hes is engaged (although I doubt he will marry in the near future, cause he still doesn't have a ring on; he used to have one on his pinky but its not there anymore, maybe there is still hope). He has been called "prettyboy from holloywood" to a "jim henson muppet". He has been spotted with an Aussie/British actress (whos name isnt important to me), and has been know to tease his fellow colleagues (from calling the CNN team in Kuwait "team vause" and teasing the weatherwoman for her poke-a-dot skirt).
